The Scarlet Enclave is the starting zone for Death Knights. This is a phased area that only Death Knights can interact in. It covers the creation of the player's Death Knight, their subsequent missions to wipe out the Scarlet Crusade at New Avalon, and the Ebon Blade's defection and parternship with the Argent Crusade.

Death Knights must complete this zone before venturing out into the larger world. They will get a full set of blue-quality gear and approximately three levels of experience while doing so.
