Dragonmaw Clan

The Dragonmaw Clan was one of the many orc clans to invade Azeroth back when the Warchief Blackhand first created the Horde. Unlike the other clans, however, the Dragonmaws relied more on magic and cunning than brute force. That is the main reason they managed to enslave a large number of red dragons (as well as nether ones in Outland) and use them as battle mounts against their enemies; Alexstrasza the Life-Binder herself was one of the victims. Defeated and pushed back to the Wetlands and Twilight Highlands, the Dragonmaw Clan has been relatively dormant until the events of Cataclysm, when Garrosh Hellscream allowed the former (and current) dragon riders to join the Horde.

Reputation

There are three ways to earn reputation with the Dragonmaw Clan.
  • Quests. All of the Dragonmaw Clan quests take place in the Twilight Highlands. To start those you will need to be level 84 and accept the quest Warchief's Command: Twilight Highlands! from the Warchief's Board in Orgrimmar. After a few quests in Orgrimmar and Azshara, you will be sent to the Highlands where, after another few quests, you can start earning your Dragonmaw Clan reputation.
  • Tabard. Once you have achieved Friendly status with the Dragonmaws and have unlocked the Bloodgulch quest hub in the Highlands, you will be able to purchase Tabard of the Dragonmaw Clan from Grot Deathblow there. As long as you wear this tabard, monsters in Grim Batol and Halls of Origination, as well as all of the Cataclysm heroic dungeons, will award reputation with the clan. This method of reputation gain is called championing.
  • Dailies. If you have the Bloodgulch quest hub unlocked, you will quickly gain access to 5 daily quests there, worth a total of 1,250 (250 each) reputation.
